Who we are

What we collect on the website

The website has no accounts and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We collect information only when you submit a form:

• Reservation, quote and contact forms: name, email, your role (therapist, clinic, client, maker, other), the tier and quantity you're interested in, optional organization, country and message, your consent, the page you submitted from and your browser's user-agent string.
• Server logs: our hosting provider may record IP addresses and request metadata for security and reliability. We do not use these to profile you.

How we use it

• To hold your place in the reservation list and email you pricing, ship estimates and product updates related to your reservation.
• To answer quote and contact requests.
• To understand demand by role, tier and country so we can plan production.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send marketing unrelated to EMDRgear. Every email we send includes a way to be removed.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in the United States. Access is restricted to EMDRgear staff; the website itself can only write to the database, never read it.

The kit and telehealth mode

In-person use never connects to the internet: your phone talks directly to the pods over the kit's own Wi-Fi network.

Telehealth mode, when a client chooses to enable it, sends device settings only — start/stop, speed, vibration strength, pulse length, light colour and brightness, timer — between the client's pod and the therapist's browser through a relay. No names, notes, audio, video or health information passes through the relay. Sessions require a one-time code from the client, last at most two hours, and end immediately when the client presses STOP. Relay commands are not retained beyond one hour. Each pod identifies itself with a random device ID and secret generated on first boot; these are not linked to any person by us.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete anything we hold about you, or to remove you from the reservation list, by emailing hello@emdrgear.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Retention

Reservation and quote records are kept until the first production run has shipped and for 12 months after, then deleted unless you have become a customer. Contact messages are kept for 12 months.

Children

The website and reservations are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date and, for material changes, email reservation holders.
